1997 Cable Car Competition
On February 18, 1997, the TCC Engineering Club hosted a Cable Car Competition.
The goal of the contest was to build a cable car that could propel itself
along a 20' cable as fast as possible while carrying a load of ping pong
balls that are to be dropped into a bucket at the end of the race.
