Kimberly Beatty
Kimberly Beatty has a Master and Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Morgan State University. She has taught as an adjunct faculty member of English at Morgan State University, Coppin State University, and Sojourner Douglass College in Baltimore, Maryland.
After relocating to Southern California, Ms. Beatty taught English at Santa Ana College, Goldenwest College, and Cypress College as an English adjunct faculty member for two years. In 1998, she was hired as an English Instructor and earned tenure in that position in 2002.
While at Cypress College, Ms. Beatty established and provided leadership over learning communities; coordinated Black History Month programs; and very active on various committees.
Ms. Beatty is the proud mother of one son and enjoys spending time with her family in her spare time. Other hobbies include gardening and movies.
