English Department at the Portsmouth Campus
The majority of students will take an English class during their academic achievement at Tidewater Community College. Our goal is to provide the background in reading, writing, and critical thinking our students will use in their careers and future studies.
The various english courses offered at the Portsmouth Campus used to fulfill the general education and elective requirements include: ENG 01, 03, 04, 05,108, 111, 112, 115, 131, 210, 236, 253. For more information, students should consult with a counselor and the major requirements listed in the TCC Catalog specific to their degree track.
