Information on grants, loans, and scholarships are available from the Financial Aid office and can be reached by calling (757) 822-7292.  If you are eligible for Veterans educational benefits, The Veterans Affairs office will assist you with your application.  They can be reached by calling

PURPOSE OF THE FIRE SCIENCE PROGRAM

The Fire Science program will prepare a new student for an exciting new career in a public or private Fire Science field, and enhance career advancements of current Fire Fighters.  The student will learn both the theoretical concepts and practical application of Fire Suppression, Fire Science Management, Fire Prevention Techniques, Arson Investigation, and the mitigation of Hazardous Material Accidents.
