The Chesapeake Campus is the college’s “green” campus, sitting on 69 acres in the heart of Chesapeake. The landscape includes protected wetlands and a tributary of the southern branch of the Elizabeth River. You can enjoy the green space from all buildings, especially the Chesapeake Student Center with glass walls that provide views of the open spaces. Students in the sciences enjoy the living laboratories with wildlife and birds, as well as meandering walking trails. The campus is a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary.
Master the skills needed to thrive in the mechatronics field. You'll learn to operate, maintain and repair “smart” devices and systems that incorporate sensors, actuators, instrumentation, process control and automation.
The automotive technology curriculum at the Regional Automotive Center is based on standards set by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) and the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF)
TCC's Interior Design program is an affordable alternative to expensive private design schools. Learn to create spaces that are practical and inviting, using the latest in computer software and design techniques.
On stage or behind the scenes, learn how to bring a production to life in TCC's Theatre program. Participate in fall, spring and the summer Shakespeare in the Grove productions.
Marine & Diesel
Focusing on the repair of semis, marine vessels, construction equipment and other diesel equipment, the curriculum in marine and diesel is also taught at the Regional Automotive Center
The roots of the TCC’s Horticulture program are in science, technology and business, as you learn about intensive plant cultivation for human use
