HIGHER EDUCATION = HIGHER INCOME

TCC Welder

A recent study shows that people who complete an associate degree enjoy higher incomes than those who don’t. And by offering hundreds of day, evening and online courses, and more than 150 academic programs, TCC makes it easy to earn a degree or certification in some of the hottest job fields.

Meet nine TCC students and graduates who have found fulfilling careers at Hampton Roads companies.

TCC = A GREAT VALUE

The cost of the high-quality education you receive at TCC is remarkably affordable when compared to public and private four-year schools and for-profit career training schools. This chart shows the average annual tuition for a student taking 30 credits. TCC associate degree requires a minimum of 60 credits.

Virginia’s Community Colleges are committed to keeping education accessible and affordable. Across the state, VCCS is meeting the goal of offering tuition that does not exceed half of the average cost to attend a public four-year institution in Virginia.
