Tidewater Community College’s jobs fairs are free and open to the public, including transitioning service members, reservists, veterans, and their family members. Students can explore part-time jobs perfect for earning extra money while in school – or pursue talks with local businesses hiring for full-time positions after graduation.
You can also explore opportunities like apprenticeships, internships and off-campus experiential learning partnerships with some of the college’s local business and industry partners.

Preparing for Career Fairs
Career fairs are great networking opportunities! Make sure that you are prepared to present a professional persona during these events. Employers are looking for students who:
- Wear appropriate interview clothing, meaning professional/business attire
- Bring multiple copies of your resume to share
- Demonstrate interest and knowledge about job opportunities in the local area
As with most events on campus, parking is free for students and employers at these events.
