Ashley Allman - Interim Executive Director of the Tidewater Community College Educational Foundation and Interim Director of
Development Associate Director of Development,
Annual Giving Programs
Ashley has been in development since
graduating from James Madison University in 2006 with a degree in Hospitality
and Tourism Management. Prior to joining the TCC Development Office Ashley
worked at Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters as a Development Officer
where she managed special events and corporate partnerships. Ashley worked on
several programs and events at CHKD including the annual David Wright Vegas
Night, Anthem Lemonaid, and the Employee Phone-a-thon. Ashley looks forward to
growing the Annual Giving Program at TCC.

Elizabeth S. Aucamp - Development Officer, Norfolk and
Virginia Beach
Elizabeth brings a diverse background to TCC,
including five years of major-gifts fundraising within the higher education
sector and tenure in corporate sales and customer service in both profit and
non-profit organizations in the hospitality and medical industries. Prior to
joining the TCC Development Office, Elizabeth was the Development Officer for
the College of Health Sciences at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia.
A graduate of Tidewater Community College, Elizabeth went on to earn a Bachelor
of Arts in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations, followed by a
Master of Arts in Humanities with an emphasis in Corporate Communications, both
from Old Dominion University.

Daysha L. Clark - Communications
Specialist
TCC Aluma and Phi Theta Kappa honoree, Daysha has produced print advertising,
presentation design, and promotional writing for small businesses and
corporations throughout Virginia and North Carolina. Daysha is also a freelance graphic designer and photographer, and serves as creative leader for Aletheia Norfolk. As a participant in the
local arts community, Daysha has organized, curated, and shown work the annual
Renewal Group Art Show, and organized charity and outreach opportunities for
local artists.

Candice A. Crocker - Development Officer,
Portsmouth and Chesapeake
Candice comes to TCC with
five years of fundraising experience with the City of Norfolk at Nauticus.
There, as the Annual Giving and Membership Manager, Candice was responsible for
the administration and growth of the annual giving and membership programs. In
addition to raising annual fund contributions, Candice identified and solicited
prospects and donors, oversaw donor relations, and managed the corporate
partnership program. Candice also coordinated major fundraising events for
Nauticus. Candice holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications with an emphasis
in Public Relations from Old Dominion University, and has earned her Master of
Arts in Media and Communications from Norfolk State University.

Donna E. Henderson - Events and
Stewardship
With over 25 years experience in
events management and planning, Donna has worked on a wide range of corporate
events and fundraisers in Washington, DC, across the country, and around the
world. These events ranged from intimate gatherings to gala dinners in exclusive settings and have included hosting U.S. Presidents, Senators,
Congressmen, Governors, foreign diplomats, top corporate CEO’s, celebrities, and
major donors in many cities. Donna and her husband reside in Norfolk.

Ariel M. Hogue - Database Specialist
Prior to
joining TCC, Ariel worked as a Senior Data Specialist at Harris Connect in
Chesapeake, Virginia. He graduated from Norfolk State University in 2005 with a
B.S. in Computer Science - Information Systems. Ariel is a Native of Bronx New
York and currently resides in Suffolk, Virginia where he serves as the Treasurer
for Remington Park Owners Association.

Tracey Houchins - Administrative and Project Specialist
Tracey has worked as an Administrative Assistant in higher education for five years. She comes to the Development Office from TCC’s Center for Military and Veterans Education on the Virginia Beach campus where she supported four Directors and a staff of over 40. Prior to working for TCC, she worked for Old Dominion University in Military Distance Learning at Naval Station Norfolk, where she provided office support for the Site Director and served active duty service members in their pursuit of higher education. Tracey earned her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Temple University in Philadelphia and is currently a graduate student at Old Dominion University where she is close to completing her Master of Science in Education.

Jennifer Schuette - Administrative Specialist
A current Business Management major at TCC and a Phi Theta Kappa member, Jennifer Schuette has been a member of the Development team since December 2012. Bringing her energy, fresh perspectives, enthusiasm, and a smiling face, Jennifer is eager to promote teamwork and assist with problem-solving solutions. She supports the Development team on a variety of administrative projects and works closely with the foundation’s administrative team. Jennifer’s talents include organizational and interpersonal communication, customer service, time management, goal setting, relationship building, and more. She is a current Virginia Beach resident with strong ties to both Virginia Beach and Norfolk.

Terry J. Wagner - Associate Director of Development,
Corporate & Foundation Relations
Terry brings 27 years of
professional fundraising experience to TCC, including 14 years of higher
education experience directing both comprehensive development programs and
corporate and foundation relations for the College of William and Mary,
Hampden-Sydney College, and the schools of nursing and social work at Virginia
Commonwealth University. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, and
the College of William and Mary’s Marshall-Wythe School of Law, Terry conducted
her own grants management business for 3 years prior to relocating to Hampton
Roads and joining TCC in 2012.

Sheri L. Watts - Office Manager
After attending TCC, Sheri
earned her Bacherlor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in
Marketing and Management from Norfolk State University, with honors. Sheri has
previously served in the development arena at Norfolk State University for over
25 years. During her time there she spent 16 years with the finance department,
and 2 years as a member of the support team for the President of the University.
Sheri also worked with Norfolk State’s University Advancement, where she
helped to administer a major gifts campaign as well as several fundraising and
community related initiatives.
