With over 28 years’ experience as a manager in industry and and extensive professional background in educational training and consulting, Mary Landon works closely with myriad organizations to offer training and development through TCC’s Workforce Development division. She has led training for the Department of Defense, Hampton Roads Transit, Volvo Penta of the Americas, Stihl Inc. and others. Landon has served as a consultant in workforce training for MGL Communications and as a training specialist/customer service representative and manager for US Airways. Her civic and professional memberships include the American Society of Training and Development and the Rotary Club of Hampton Roads. She has garnered numerous awards and grants and has presented on the topics of training and development and community college leadership. Enrolled in the Community College Leadership Ph.D. program atOld Dominion University, she received the Exemplary Service to the ODU Doctoral Students in Community College Leadership Program award. Landon holds a B.S. in aviation management from Southern Illinois University and an M.S. in business and industry training from Old Dominion University. |
