|
David Wright joined TCC in 1974 as professor of physics, teaching general college physics, university physics, astronomy and conceptual physics. In 2002, the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia awarded him one of only 11Outstanding Faculty Awards. Wright served as science consultant and script writer for the NASA Science Files television show and also performs physics demonstrations at theme parks that include Busch Gardens in Williamsburg and Tampa Bay. He writes physics workbooks for Busch Gardens, Sea World, Water Country USA and Adventure Island. Wright holds a B.S. and M.A. in physics from Brigham Young University and a Ph.D. in physics from Virginia Tech. |
