TCC fills racecar with 500 lbs. of food
[Other Holiday-Help Projects]

Not your usual delivery mode – volunteers’ jaws dropped at the Mayflower Marathon Food Drive site when a truck rolled up trailoring a racecar piled high with food stuffs. TCC’s Regional Automotive Center faculty and students filled one of the the center’s training cars with 500 lbs. of food collected for the Foodbank’s annual drive, held Nov. 18-20.

Professor David Lee (shown steering the Honda) launched the project, pleased to expand his annual gift by involving the center’s staff and students. “It’s an easy thing to do; giving to the community is just something we shouldn’t think twice about.”
