NORFOLK, Va. – (March 25, 2005)
– Working the phones comes naturally to the phone-a-thon team
at Autotrader.com, as they recently talked up $2,145 in donations
for TCC’s Women’s Center.
Through programming and counseling that range from career planning
to parenting to budgeting, the Women’s Center helps women
who are resuming or starting a college education. Through community
partnerships, the center serves as a resource on women’s issues
and works to promote an atmosphere where diversity, inclusiveness
and equity are valued.
The Autotrader.com group plans to make the fundraiser an annual
event.
