HAMPTON ROADS, Va. – (March 24, 2005) – Tidewater Community College and the University of Virginia invite TCC students and TCC graduates to consider a UVA bachelor’s degree taught by UVA faculty on TCC campuses.

Preparing for its second year, the Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies (BIS) program is open to current and former TCC students who completed high school at least four years ago, have 60 hours of transferable credit, and a 2.0 GPA. The second cohort of the BIS program begins fall, 2005.

To be considered for fall 2005, prospective students should attend an Information Session with UVA on TCC’s Virginia Beach Campus on March 29 and 31; on April 4 at the Chesapeake Campus; and April 5 at the Portsmouth Campus.
