A TCC DEAN’S LATEST BOOKS ANNOUNCED
Ann Ambrose focuses on business technologies
SOUTH HAMPTON ROADS, Va. – (Aug. 11, 2006) – A Tidewater Community College
dean and professor has another book and a new edition on the racks, published by Thomson South-Western Learning.
Ann Peele Ambrose, dean of business, public services and technologies at TCC’s Portsmouth Campus, co-wrote Spotlight on Input Technologies and the third edition of Computer Concepts Basics.
Ambrose, an author for more than 20 years and a past president of Virginia Business Education Association, also wrote The Candidate: A Beginning Word Processing Simulation, which is now in its second edition for students and instructors. The Chesapeake resident has focused her books on high-school and post-secondary computer education, but her most recent publications are appropriate for the middle grades.

Tidewater Community College
is the second largest of the 23 community colleges in the Commonwealth
