TCC THEATRE: PUBLIC AUDITIONS MARCH 17 FOR SUMMER SHAKESPEARE IN THE GROVE
This year’s production is “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”
HAMPTON ROADS, Va. – (March 5, 2007) – Tidewater Community College’s Theatre Department will hold public auditions for its summer Shakespeare in the Grove production of ”A Midsummer Night’s Dream” from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 17, at the Studio Theatre, 1428 Cedar Rd., Chesapeake.
One short, or two very short, memorized Shakespearean monologues are required. They must take no more than one minute, in total.
The Shakespeare summer production will run at 8 p.m. nightly June 27 to July 1 in the Chesapeake Campus Grove and at 8 p.m. July 6 and 7 in the TCC Jeanne and George Roper Performing Arts Center in Norfolk.
