TCC SPRING JOB FAIR TO SHOWCASE 60 AREA EMPLOYERS
Public invited to annual event at TCC's Virginia Beach Campus
HAMPTON ROADS, Va. (March 21, 2012) – In today’s competitive job market, Tidewater Community College offers students, new graduates and job seekers the opportunity to connect with more than 60 area businesses during its spring Job Fair.
Set for Tuesday, April 10, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Advanced Technology Center on TCC's Virginia Beach Campus, the Job Fair offers information on career positions, internships and part-time job opportunities. Under one roof, representatives gather to meet job seekers, share information and make connections.
The Job Fair is free and open to the public. Participants are encouraged to dress for success and bring multiple copies of their resumes. No pre-registration is required.
The Job Fair showcases opportunities with businesses and agencies including Apple Retail, BAE Systems Norfolk Ship Repair, Chesapeake Fire Department, GEICO, Navy Exchange, Sentara Healthcare, U.S. Secret Service, Virginia Beach Field House, Wells Fargo and many more.

Tidewater Community College - the largest provider of higher education and workforce development services in Hampton Roads - served more than 46,000 students in 2010-11. The 16th highest associate-degree producer in the nation, TCC offers more than 150 programs including business administration, culinary arts, general studies, modeling and simulation, network security, nursing, and automotive technology. Among the fastest-growing two-year institutions in the United States, TCC was founded in 1968 as a part of the Virginia Community College System.
