Tidewater Community College and the TCC Educational Foundation are committed to investing in our students. Through the generous contributions of individual donors and organizations, we are able to provide scholarships to support students' academic study and achievement.
Applications for the Fall 2017 award cycle are now closed, but check back soon for the Spring 2018 cycle.
Apply for a scholarship and become part of the 60% of TCC graduates who leave debt free!
Most TCC Educational Foundation scholarships are worth $500 or more, and they do not need to be repaid. Depending on your unmet need, you may be awarded more than one scholarship. You must complete the FAFSA to apply.
Awards may be used only for tuition, books and fees at TCC, not for living expenses or transportation.
Students selected to receive scholarships will be notified in July via their VCCS email address.
Science, technology and engineering jobs are in demand. With TCC’s STEM Promise Program, you can earn your degree and graduate debt free! Winners announced in August!
Virginia Foundation for Community College Education
VFCCE's mission is to provide access to education for all Virginians. Through the statewide scholarship program, students can apply for scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $10,000.
These scholarships are available through organizations outside TCC or through programs at the college other than the Educational Foundation. Many have their own application process and deadlines, so be sure to read each one carefully.
