RULES AND REGULATIONS for StormDollars Spend Little, Win Big Giveaway

 

Time Period: 

Active campaign period for prize drawing entry runs from February 3 – March 2, 2013.  Prize recipients will be selected and award notifications will be emailed the Monday following each eligibility week.

Prizes:    Total of 60 $25 StormDollars and 2 NOOK Tablets™

Drawings: Monday of 2/11, 2/18, 2/25 and 3/4

 

How to Play:

    • You will automatically be entered into the weekly prize drawing if you meet the following conditions each week of eligibility:

      • Use StormDollars to complete a deposit or purchase meeting the conditions listed above for each week eligibility time period.

        • Excludes all print tranactions

        • StormDollars plan 10 purchases only, excluding all print tranactions

        • Drawing each Monday following an eligibility week (first drawing to be held on Monday, February 11th)

        • The drawing covers StormDollars activity for the weekly periods listed above

        • Each participant meeting the requirements has one chance in the drawing regardless if the total number of transactions made during the period exceeds the requirement

 OR

      • Eligible individuals may complete a No Purchase Necessary Registration Form available online for each of the specific campaign week periods and mail to:  Tidewater Community College, c/o Central StormCard Office (Feb Weekly Giveaway), 121 College Place, Suite 513, Norfolk, VA  23510.   Completed forms must be received by mail before the drawing date for that weekly period.  Each participant is awarded one chance in the drawing.  Tidewater Community College is not responsible for lost, damaged, incomplete, illegible, postage due, improperly addressed, misdirected requests or requests not received by the deadline.  The No Purchase Necessary Registration Form is a multi-page form. 

 

Eligibility:

  • TCC students who are currently enrolled in credit classes for the Spring 2013 term on the drawing date

  • Each participant can only win once in the campaign (once during the four week period of this campaign)

Winner Notification/Prize Claim:

    • Winners will be notified by email to the winner’s TCC student email address.  The email will be sent from the TCC Central StormCard Office (StormCard@tcc.edu) and include a subject of “TCC StormDollars Giveaway Notification”.

    • Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission to use each winner’s name, prize won and any educational goals or comments shared about winning for purposes of promotion or publicity without any additional compensation. 

    • Winners must accept their prize by responding as directed within 10 days of notification.

    • Once accepted per the prize notification response, the winner will be informed as to when the prize will be received. 

    • For the NOOK Tablets™, winners must pick up their prize by the last date indicated following the prize confirmation

    • To accept a prize, a winner must reply to the winner notification email. The winner may contact the Central StormCard Office at 822-2273 with any questions.  The $25 StormDollars prizes will be credited directly to the winner's card account as indicated in the confirmation email. NOOK Tablet™ prizes will be made available at a campus of choice and must be claimed in person during regular operating hours.  Winners will be required to present photo identification when claiming their prize.

    • Winners will be required to agree to and/or sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release to receive a prize. 

    • Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded. Prizes are not transferable. No substitution of prize is offered, no transfer of prize to a third party is permitted, and non-cash prizes cannot be redeemed for cash value.
