Batten Faculty Development Centers:
The mission of the Batten Faculty Development Centers is to support faculty in integrating technology into their teaching. Through experimentation, training, and support, the labs enable faculty to enrich their course delivery through technology-enhanced instruction.
The Batten Centers are open to faculty and staff of the college on a walk-in basis or by appointment. The purpose of the labs is to let faculty experiment with new technology tools and to support them in that endeavor. Comments and or concerns can be directed to David Hodge.
The Batten Centers' computers offer Microsoft Office Suite 2007, and specialized software programs such as Adobe Master Collection CS3. In addition, the labs are equipped with video editing workstations, scanners and color printers.
