Minimum Technology Requirements
TCC eLearning courses use Blackboard, a leading LMS (Learning Management System) software for online education. The minimum technical specifications needed to participate in an eLearning course are listed below. Your eLearning experience may be enhanced with more up-to-date hardware and software. Some courses may have additional hardware and/or software requirements; refer to the course syllabus for additional information. Some math and science classes use publisher-produced sites. Your course syllabus will provide additional information.
Minimum Computer Requirements for eLearning
The computer should be able to support oneof the following operating systems:
Macintosh OS X
The computer should have the following hardware:
Computer Memory or RAM at or above the recommended amount for the operating system
Sound card and speakers
Web cam and microphone (helpful; may be required in some courses)
