Goals of the
Virtual Math Lab
1.
To serve as an instructional resource for Tidewater Community
College, local high schools, and the mathematics community
at large.
2. To
develop a series of online interactive web-enhanced lessons
for use by TCC instructors and high school teachers.
3. To
offer online mathematics laboratory help for developmental
students which includes; tutorials, an email help line,
a bulletin
board, and chat rooms.
4. To
serve as an instructional resource for high school students
needing remediation in mathematics on
the Virginia Standards
of Learning.
