The Tidewater Community College Autodesk® Training Center located on the Portsmouth Campus is an authorized Autodesk® Testing Center and has received numerous awards for training, facilities and instruction from Autodesk®.
The college offers complete training programs for the industry professional. Training sessions are offered during the day, evenings and weekends. Companies can work with TCC to arrange customized sessions.

AutoCAD Level I - CADD 1001
This four-day course builds a solid foundation for the more advanced AutoCAD® applications. It is designed to familiarize CAD or computer beginners with: hardware and software operating systems, AutoCAD® terminology, and graphical user interface, drawing, editing, layering, and dimensioning commands. Learn efficient methods for setting up drawings, prototypes, and navigating within the drawing editor.
Prerequisite
It is assumed that students have had some background in drafting or blueprint reading prior to taking this course. Students must have a USB Flash Drive 1GB or more storage capacity. This will be needed for all class sessions

Introduction to Autodesk Revit Architecture®
Autodesk Revit Architecture is a powerful software which allows the user to capture and analyze concepts and maintain your vision through design, documentation, and construction. With Revit Architecture you can update designs and documentation automatically as you create your design. Revit Architeture 2012 software will be used.
Prerequisite

Autodesk Inventor Level I - CADD 1003
This course is an introduction to creating Parametric 3D solid models with Autodesk Inventor. The course covers the Autodesk Inventor 2012 features used to create, edit, document and print part and assembly files. Students will create a variety of simple and complex parts, generate engineering drawings, create both assemblies and animations using the Inventor software. Classes are small and students receive a great deal of one-on-one instruction from a certified instructor. This class meets for three days.

Drafters, designers and engineers creating and working with 3D mechanical designs
