| CompTIA Security+ Preparation Course
This 40 clock hour course provides an in-depth exploration of the basics of network security.
Explores network security basics to include:
- security objectives,
- security architecture,
- security models and
- security layers.
Discusses:
- risk management,
- network security policy, and
- security training.
This course will also discuss the five security keys: Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability, Accountability and Auditability.

For Navy and Coast Guard Students: There is a cap of $16.67 per hour, not to exceed $4,000.00 per fiscal year for the Navy and $4,500 per fiscal year for Coast Guard students.
Note: The original TA form shall be brought to TCC before the first day of class. Upon completion of the course, the student shall give the Navy/Coast Guard a copy of their Certificate of Completion.
