Network+ Certification Training
This course is designed to prepare students for CompTIA's Network+ Exam. Earning the CompTIA Network+ Certification means that students have the knowledge needed to use and maintain a wide range of network technologies.
This course provides an introduction to terms and basic communication concepts of contemporary network services, transmission media and connection hardware. Examines the OSI communication model to provide the student with a unique perspective relating to popular protocol stacks in use today, including lower layer protocols. Includes connectivity devices (bridges, switches and routers), IP addresses, subnets, TCP/IP and IPX protocol stacks. Provides conceptual understanding for any network operating system currently in use.
