SOA offers a myriad of assessment-related services and resources for use in efforts for continuous program improvement. In addition to the assessment toolkit contained in this website, consultative services is another critical mode of support (e.g., face-to-face, email, phone; one-on-one, small group, large group settings; formal and informal). College administrators and faculty may request assessment-related guidance on a variety of topics such as how to design an appropriate test and rubric, create online and paper surveys, draft a comprehensive assessment plan, write learning outcomes, identify or develop assessment measures or instruments, analyze and use data for decision making, and prepare data-informed narrative reports.
Please do not hesitate to contact Dr. Bryan regarding any of your assessment-related needs. He is willing and able to meet at a location and time of your convenience, or simply discuss an issue via phone or email. You can reach Mike at (757) 822-1073, firstname.lastname@example.org, or in his office located on the 6th floor of the Green District Administration Building at 121 College Place (Suite 608).
