Welcome to the Chesapeake Campus of Tidewater Community College! Located on sixty-nine acres off Cedar Road between Great Bridge and Deep Creek, the Chesapeake Campus was established in 1973 when the City of Chesapeake purchased the former Chesapeake College. Over the years, the physical campus has grown to meet increasing enrollment demands with a state-of-the art academic building and a new student center opening in 2013-14. In 2016, we will conclude construction of a multilevel parking deck, the first parking structure of its kind in the City of Chesapeake. We are so fortunate that our campus is situated in a beautiful natural environment. The Campus became the first business/school property in the state of Virginia and 45th in the world to be designated as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary. Additionally, the Regional Automotive Center, located on Network Drive in Chesapeake and the Tri-Cities Center in Suffolk, are affiliated with the Chesapeake Campus.
