STUDENT PARKING – NORFOLK CAMPUS
Students who are actively enrolled at the Norfolk Campus and possess a valid TCC Student ID are eligible to purchase a parking pass for the Bank Street Garage. The garage is located at the Wells Fargo Center in the city block surrounded by Monticello Avenue, Freemason Street, Charlotte Street, and Bank Street and can be accessed at the Freemason Street or Bank Street entrances. All student passes are activated on the first day of semester classes and deactivated after the close of business on the last day of final exams for the semester. Parking passes are activated for use at the Bank Street Garage during the following times:
Monday through Friday: 6:00 am to 10:30 pm
Saturday: 7:30 am to 6:00 pm
Parking passes may be purchased online or at the Norfolk Campus Business Office at a cost of $25.00 per semester for 40 entrances/exits. Students must be enrolled in the current semester at the Norfolk Campus and possess a valid TCC Student ID. If purchased online, students must pick up their pass from the Norfolk Campus Business Office; a separate online pass pick-up station will be available the week prior and the first week of classes.
Additional Usage During Semester
Students who need to purchase additional usage, beyond the 40 entrances/exits, may do so online. Once purchased, the parking pass will be updated within 48 hours with the additional entrances/exits. Students do not need to come to the Business Office to have their passes updated if purchased online.
Online Pass Renewals for Subsequent Semesters
For convenience and to avoid long wait times, students who purchased a parking pass in the previous semester should keep their pass and purchase a pass renewal. Pass renewals may be purchased online at a cost of $25.00 per semester for 40 entrances/exits. Students must be enrolled in the current semester at the Norfolk Campus and possess a valid TCC ID. Once purchased online, the parking pass will be updated within 48 hours with the additional entrances/exits. Students do not need to come to the Business Office to have their passes renewed if purchased online.
Pay with Financial Aid
Students who are receiving financial aid and want to pay for a parking pass using their financial aid should fill out the Authorization to Pay Charges from Financial Aid Sources form and bring the completed form to the Norfolk Campus Business Office.
Replacement Passes – Lost or Damaged
Replacement passes will incur a $5.00 replacement charge in addition to the $25.00 pass price. If purchased online, students must pick up their pass from the Norfolk Campus Business Office.
The purchase of all Norfolk Parking passes are non-refundable purchases. Students should not purchase a parking pass unless they are actively enrolled in classes at the Norfolk Campus for that semester.
