The Fred W. Beazley Portsmouth Campus has relocated to the Victory Village area of the City of Portmsouth from its original site in northern Suffolk. The campus was founded on land donated by Frederick W. Beazley and the Beazley Foundation for the purpose of creating a community college. It opened in the fall of 1968 as the original site of TCC. Since January 2010, the campus is located in the Victory Village section of Portsmouth, near Interstate 264 and Victory Boulevard, and encompasses 35 acres. The new state-of-the-art campus contains four buildings that house academic programs, administrative offices, student services, an innovative library with a large open computer lab, and a physical plant building. Totaling 183,000 square feet, the buildings house most of the instructional programs for the Portsmouth Campus, which include the college's Beazley School of Nursing, computer aided drafting and design, early childhood education, air conditioning, and welding programs. In addition, the campus offers a wide array of transfer programs designed to prepare students to transfer to a four-year institution to pursue a bachelor's degree. The campus also houses the offices of the innovative First College Program in partnership with Portsmouth Public Schools.
