The Associate in Science in Computer Science prepares student
to transfer to a four-year college or university to pursue
a bachelor's degree. The degree also meets the needs of students
seeking teacher certification in secondary mathematics or
computer science.
Information
Systems Technology, and accounting Programs
The associate in applied science degree, certificate, and
career studies certificate programs in Information Systems
Technology and Accounting programs provide varying degrees
of preparation for the job market and program length to meet
a student's particular needs in these fields.
Faculty in IST programs are certified, as appropriate, by
software vendors to provide the latest information in rapidly
changing fields, and they incorporate a high degree of hands-on
activity designed to duplicate the student's future work environment.
Advanced Technology Center classrooms are equipped with a
state-of-the-art computer workstation for each student. The
Open Computer Lab operates seven days a week with 102 computers
dedicated to student use. Additional computer labs are available
for special session classes and events.
