When: Thursday April 22nd, 12:30 pm - 01:30 pm Description: Visiting Graphic Designer Benjamin Gaydos is a designer, educator, co-founder of goodgood, and Chair & Professor of Design at the University of Michigan–Flint where he directs the Community Design Studio. He co-authored The First Things First Manifesto 2020, a call for a regenerative and co-creative approach to design. Gaydos finds beauty in the details, humanity through collaboration, joy in the act of creating, and wholeheartedly believes that design can sustain, heal, and empower. This event is part of Tidewater Community College’s “My Thoughts My Voice My Art” series of music, visual arts, literary, and theatrical programming developed by the Arts & Humanities Pathway. Free and open to the public, all are invited to join us for these compelling events featuring themes of diversity, adversity, inequality, social justice, and empowerment.
