Virtual When: Thursday July 28th, 01:30 pm - 02:30 pm Description: The Literacy Lab is an AmeriCorps partner program building strong readers in Hampton Roads, Danville, and the Richmond area. The K-3 Literacy Tutor is placed at an elementary school to provide supplemental practice to children in kindergarten through 3rd grade to develop their reading skills. Tutors will use scripted, evidence-based literacy interventions as guided by the coaches and will conduct weekly 1-minute assessments to ensure each student is on track to read at grade level.
