Odyssey Day comes to the RAC

Odyssey Day, a national initiative, brings together industry professionals, students and the community to learn about green transportation, clean fuels and innovative energy-related initiatives in development throughout the Commonwealth and the nation. 

Students, faculty and staff enjoyed riding in energy efficient vehicles, including a Nissan LEAF, a Chevy Volt, and various electric and hybrid prototypes. Thirty vendors were on hand to answer questions.

TCC’s own Thomas Stout, program head of the Electromechanical Controls Technology, which includes the Renewable Energy Technologies, presented a wind turbine and solar demonstration onsite.
