Want to enroll at TCC for fall? Prepare for placement tests with free refresher workshops

If you’re thinking about enrolling at Tidewater Community College for fall classes, you might need to take the Virginia Placement Test in English and mathematics.

Don’t let test anxiety be an obstacle. Brush up on your English and math skills at a free Placement Test Refresher Workshop.

Workshops are open to the public. You need not be a TCC student or planning to enroll at TCC to attend.

Each two-hour session – one hour of English and one of math prep – offers guidance on taking the computer-based placement test.

Pre-registration is not required, and you may attend multiple workshops. Arrive 10 minutes early to register.

Some students qualify for a waiver based on high school grades or test scores. Meet with a TCC advisor to determine your status and visit tcc.edu/placement for more information.
