Keep me in the loopStarting in September 2025,TCC will compete in men’s and women’s basketball in the National Junior College Athletic Association, Region 10.
With the launch of basketball, TCC will become the largest community college in Virginia to offer competitive athletics. We’ll play other colleges and community colleges throughout Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina, and other sports will follow in 2026.
Adding competitive sports will enrich student life at TCC, increase enrollment, and give local athletes a new opportunity to shine. For students and alumni, it’s another reason to be proud of your school.

“The advantages of an affordable higher educational experience coupled with an engaging athletics program is something students in our region deserve. we are excited to see all the doors that will open for our students and our community as a result.”
