Located in the heart of Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley, JMU is a public university that is a two-hour drive from Washington, D.C. and Richmond, VA. Founded in 1908, JMU features a liberal arts foundation throughout its 130+ programs of study. All programs include a variety of cross-disciplinary learning experiences, inside and outside the classroom, that further enhance the value of a JMU education. In addition to the Virginia Community College Guaranteed Admissions Agreement, TCC has partnered with JMU to offer another transfer program called Here to JMU. How to select the appropriate agreement
Select the transfer agreement that corresponds to the catalog year you started your TCC program. Catalog year refers to the academic year you BEGAN your TCC program. For example, if you started in Fall 2019 or Spring 2020, you will select the agreement that corresponds with catalog year 2019.
