TCC’s associate degree in social sciences prepares you to study at a four-year college or university in a wide variety of disciplines in the social and behavioral sciences. Those fields include anthropology, economics, geography, history, political science, sociology and psychology. If you plan on a career in education, TCC’s social sciences degree will even prepare you for some teacher certification programs.

First-time college students who meet GPA and other requirements may qualify for a 2-year transfer grant to apply toward tuition. Grants of $1,000 may be awarded for your junior and senior years.
Students in STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) disciplines may be eligible for an additional $1,000 each year.
