TCC Spring Job Fair to showcase more than 85 area employers
The job fair, sponsored by the college’s Career Services Center, will offer information on career positions, internships and part-time opportunities. Representatives will gather to meet jobseekers, share information and make connections, all under one roof.
The fair is free and open to the public. Participants are encouraged to dress for success and bring multiple copies of their resumes. No pre-registration is required.
Among the employers represented will be Bank of Hampton Roads, Bayview Physicians Services, Canon Virginia, Inc., GEICO and Virginia Beach Fire Department.

The fair includes a meet-and-greet showcase, enabling participants to meet with staffers from a variety of TCC divisions including the Center for Military and Veterans Education, TCC Alumni and the Women’s Center’s STEM program.
Learn interviewing skills, from 12:30-1:30 p.m. during a special session with Pete Moyer, vice president of sales for Orpak USA. This session will be held in Room L209.
Volunteers with TCC Alumni Council will hold job preparation seminars and photo sessions throughout the job fair including:
- “Leveraging LinkedIn to Promote Your Professional Brand” – Room L201, 2nd floor
- “Interview Skills That Will Get You Hired” – Room L202, 2nd floor
- LinkedIn headshots – Room L118, 1st floor
Job fair participants are encouraged to donate “dress for success” clothing for Samaritan House, giving women transitioning into the workforce much needed wardrobe items. All sizes are needed. Clothing will be collected in Room L120.
